WTF Tuesdays: IPSA & Ross Anderson

  • The Brunswick Green 313 Sydney Road Brunswick, VIC, 3056 (map)

WTF Tuesdays are back at the Green! A new series mixing up jazz improv sessions- contemporary classical- and live scores to classic movies.

This Tuesday features sets from IPSA and Ross Anderson

8:30pm
Ross Anderson

Ross Anderson is a Naarm based composer, bassist and producer. His new solo show showcases arrangements of standards from the American songbook alongside effects and electronics to explore the textural and tonal possibilities of the double bass as a solo instrument.

IPSA

Ipsa is made up of Sam Pannifex & Sova Locus.

Ipsa are a two piece experimental ambient project from Melbourne and Tasmania. They have played exclusively in Hobart over the past few years, including most recently at Hobarts MONA museum. Utilising electronics, guitar, keys and more, Ipsa combine slabs of static/noise, field recordings and manipulated tones to create rich, ambient soundscapes and textures.
