Miro Lauritz is a young, up-and-coming pianist, percussionist, award-winning composer and arranger, currently studying Jazz Piano at the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music, Monash University. Miro’s musical journey began at the age of 8 when he joined the Australian Boys Choir, with which he performed as a solo singer across the world and on some of Melbourne’s biggest stages with companies such as Opera Australia. As a composer, Miro won the VCE Premier’s Award for his composition for Cello Quartet, L’Ondes, and has had his other works performed and recorded all across Melbourne. As a vibraphonist, pianist and singer, Miro regularly plays all across Melbourne in all different styles.
