WTF Tuesdays are back at the Green! A new series mixing up jazz improv sessions- contemporary classical - and live scores to classic movies.

This Tuesday features sets from All Right & Operation.

All Right explores how an ensemble’s interaction changes through creative exhaustion. The performance consists of a long form improvisation over and around the Cole Porter standard, It’s All Right with Me, questioning what there in the music for the improviser is when everything has been played. As a result of over exposure, the tune begins to be contorted and deformed in novel ways, extending into a play of what is present and absent in the music and performance.

OPERATION: is a Naarm-based free improvisation group.

The operation is improvised and pre-prepared. It will be familiar and new. The operation is a space, and in it, a movement towards and away from music. Listen listen listen, music music music.
