Niran Dasika (solo):
Niran Dasika is a trumpeter, improvisor and composer based in Melbourne whose work encompasses jazz, free improvisation and electronic music. Niran’s virtuosic trumpet playing and unique voice as a composer and band leader have lead a wide-ranging career around Australia and Japan, where he lived for several years. Niran’s live solo performances augments his distinctive, etherial trumpet sound with delay, looping and live processing to create mesmeric, hypnotic patterns underneath his lyrical trumpet playing

Debut of Spreadsheet:
Performing spontaneous compositions combining years of rhythmic ideas written by Finn Milne.

Spreadsheet is the interpretation of and improvisation over these rhythms by some of Melbourne’s best young musicians.
