The Selenic is a duo project by Margot Petrie and Ava McDermott that blends electronics, folk and jazz. 

The Selenic present a selection of original works, improvised sonic explorations and beloved songs. Exploring the voice as an improvising instrument, The Selenic draws from a range of musical traditions and techniques. 

Inspired by the likes of Sade, Stereolab, Jessica Pratt and David Crosby, The Selenic works acoustically and electronically, creating a sound that blends improvisation and folk. 

Expect lush harmonies, observational poetry and a night of musical intimacy. 
Joining them will be James Sherlock, Blakely McLean-Davies, Clyde Saniga and Quinn Knight.
