One of the last of these series!

Hello everyone, Tuesday December 3 is the final Passionate Tongues gig for 2024... and will see the launch of two books!

In partnership with Melbourne PEN, chapbooks One Breath by Di Cousens and Yellow Shirt by the late Judith Rodriguez will be introduced by Arnold Zable.
Yellow Shirt was completed by Judith Rodriguez while she was on her deathbed and features her poetry, illustrated by the photography of Di Cousens. It will be launched by Robyn Rowland. One Breath features poetry and photography by Di Cousens. It will be launched by Kevin Brophy.

It really doesn't need to be said what an important launch this will be, for many reasons. Judith is one of the most revered poets in Australia in the last 50 years.

Because it is such a special occasion, the launch will start strictly at 7:30 as some people have to travel from far away. So the launch will happen before the usual open mic. You need to come early to catch the start and have your name on the open mic list.
Open mic will finish a beautiful evening of poetry, and of course you will experience the famous hospitality of The Brunswick Green. See you there
