Fresh off finishing a 10-date national tour around New Zealand, Wellington-based guitarist and composer Jamie Pye returns to one of his favourite venues in Melbourne!
Jamie creates music that conveys an honest sense of storytelling and narrative. His compositions are complex and harmonically rich, while always aiming to remain musically accessible to all audiences. Drawing influence from all genres and musical traditions, he pays particular attention towards the work of composers and bandleaders Brian Blade, Kendrick Scott, Petros Klampanis and Aaron Parks.
