Rustik Chairs:

Avant-garde renditions of standards and traditionals, fusing Free Jazz influences (Ornette, Dolphy, Monk, Cecil Taylor, Albert Ayler etc.) with highly personalised expressive indulgence! Tom, Stephen and Michael shake, bend and break these beloved compositions with reckless interactive abandon, relentless motivic repetition, joyful bombast and, yes, occasional restraint. Are Rustik Chairs playing Jazz? If not, what are they playing? Does it matter? Come along to find out!
