Harry Tinney & Friends

  • The Brunswick Green 313 Sydney Road Brunswick, VIC, 3056 (map)

Harry Tinney is an improviser and composer originally from Ngunnawal/Canberra, now based in Naarm/Melbourne. After the release of an all-instrumental album last year entitled “ORACLES” with his project WASTELANDS, this intimate show at the Brunswick Green marks a return to Harry’s singer-songwriter roots. Joined by Ella Tinney (drums, vocals) and Helen Svoboda (bass, vocals), the group will debut a set of unreleased original music.

Merinda Dias-Jayasinha (she/her) is a creative artist and musician whose practice explores heartfelt and lyrical storytelling, genre-blurring compositions and the melodic and textural potential of the voice. Born and raised in Meanjin with Sri Lankan/Australian heritage, Dias-Jayasinha explores her artistry, impressive vocal ability, and versatility through a number of projects and delights in collaboration and community.
