Playing in the style of Toots Thielemans, young Melbourne improvisers Chris Maunders, Stephen Hornby and Tom Allen-Graham return to the stage after their 3 year residency at the Brunswick Green came to a halt early 2020.
The ensemble explores communicative possibilities through jazz standard repertoire, embracing a chamber sound with a textural exploration of their instruments. Drawing from diverse influences, Maunders has carved his own defined sound on the chromatic harmonica unique to Australian music.
