Having played together for the last 2 years Liam O'Neill (trumpet/piano) and Nama Rangachari (double bass) explore improvised concepts. Drawing from Middle Eastern, Eastern European and Indian folk styles, their music also comes with heavy influence from black improvised music, pioneered in the United States. This duo will perform original material as well as arrangements from artists such as: Wayne Shorter, Avishai Cohen, John Coltrane, and Alice Coltrane.
