Ginger Brown 8.30 - 10.30PM

Ginger Brown are a chordless quartet comprised of Callum Mintzis (trombone), Flora Carbo (saxophones), Angus Radley (bass) and Luke Andresen (drums).

Callum is a composer and trombonist from Melbourne, Australia. He has been the recipient of the Pat Corrigan Award, the Brian Brown Jazz Award, the Geoffrey Whitelaw Brass Scholarship and the Allan Zavod Runner Up Award. He has also played with Terri-Lyne Carrington, Linda Oh, Judy Bailey, Vijay Iyer, Ambrose Akinmusire and Andrea Keller (among others). Callum’s interests include free improvisation, experimental music and electronic music. He has recently finished recording an album (unreleased) with Theo Carbo, Chloe Kim, Jacques Emery and Zac O’ Connell.
